History

Before First Curse

At Poseidon's Boneyard, on the way back to Arendelle, Queen Gerda and the King of Arendelle's ship gets caught up in a storm. Gerda, knowing that they will not make it back to Arendelle, writes a letter for Elsa and Anna about her secret past with her sisters Ingrid and Helga and places the letter in a message bottle. With no hopes of returning home, Gerda and the King holds on to one another as the ship sinks into the ocean. Upon their death, Elsa becomes the Queen of Arendelle.

Five years since their parents death, Queen Elsa and Princess Anna visits their gravesite on the anniversary of their death.

• Magic beans can open portals to Fairy Tale Land.
• The Dark Curse has the ability to remove Fairy Tale Land's inhabitants to the Land Without Magic with their memories removed.
• There's a door in the Chamber of Doors that connects Fairy Tale Land to other worlds.
• The Land of Oz's silver slippers has the power to transport it's user to any world they desire, including Fairy Tale Land.
• The Apprentice can manifest doors to return any inhabitant back to Fairy Tale Land.
• When someone becomes the new Dark One, they will be transported to the Dark One's vault in Fairy Tale Land regardless of which world their in.
• Wonderland's looking glass has the ability to cross-over to Fairy Tale Land.
• Regina Mills' variation of the Dark Curse is able to transport everyone and everything to a newly created realm.
